Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we will begin standardized testing next week, I will be brief. Please send your children to school on time everyday. We cannot disturb any of the classrooms for tardy students. Make sure they are well-rested by sending them to bed at an appropriate time each night. Please do not add stress by making them review flashcards, etc. the night before the test. We have had children become ill during testing because they were so nervous. Students who do not take the test must have a doctor‘s letter on his/her letterhead explaining the child‘s illness. Children who do not take the test will have to attend summer school and/ repeat the grade if they are not successful.
Some of our children are very anxious about testing week. Please keep all of your children in your thoughts and prayers! we plan for everyone to sail to victory!
Respectfully,
Julie Flattmann
